Knowledge
With years of experience, Dr. Brett Mizell is capable of analyzing your body and creating a custom pain relief plan to benefit your health. We understand the importance of educating you on chiropractic care so that you can heal quickly.
Dr. Brett Mizell is a native of Atkinson County. He is a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange Florida in 2011.
Certified in the Kennedy Decompression Technique
The certification course is taught by the leading expert in spinal decompression, Jay Kennedy, D.C., who has trained doctors worldwide and treated thousands of patients using a variety of decompression systems. The topics cover an array of subjects including proper patient selection, patient positioning, treatment time, amount of force, and ancillary procedures. The course entails over 40 hours including hands-on training sessions, followed by a certification examination. It is approved by leading Chiropractic Colleges. After completing this comprehensive course, we are pleased that we can now better serve our patients and others in the community with advanced spinal decompression therapy. This advanced technique is a non-surgical option that can finally bring relief to many people who suffer from neck or back pain.

Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression
Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression is FDA cleared and has been clinically proven for pain associated with herniated or bulging discs even after failed surgery. It is a non-surgical, computerized traction therapy for the relief of back and leg pain or neck and arm pain.
How it works..
The goal of non-surgical spinal decompression therapy is to take pressure off the spinal discs by generating negative pressure on the disc. Spinal decompression gently stretches your spine altering its position and the corresponding pressures. When pressure is removed from your spinal discs, bulging or herniated discs may withdraw, removing pressure off nerves and other spinal structures. By removing the pressure on your discs, non-surgical spinal decompression therapy restores movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the discs so they can heal.
